Jim Wade serves as Chief Science Officer at CS Group, where he leads Research & Development, Quality Assurance, and Product Innovation across the company’s diverse beverage portfolio.

Jim joined CS Group in 1997 as the sole R&D team member after a long career at the Dr. Pepper Seven Up Company where he held titles including: Vice President R&D and QA and VP of Manufacturing.

Since joining CS Group, Jim has built a best-in-class QA department and scaled a product development team that brings safe, effective, and industry-leading beverage solutions to market. Jim holds a B.S. in Zoology and an M.S. in Environmental Science, and is a firm believer that when our company develops safe and effective products that our sales and marketing teams can deliver, then there are no limitations to the growth of CS Group

Jim is a member of IFT, American Chemical Society and the Society of Soft Drink Technology. Jim is now "part-time retired" but remains an integral part of CS Group. When he's not in the lab, Jim enjoys collecting and playing guitars.
